I read her book, actually. I wanted to go, but couldn't. Had a terrible night yesterday. Our heating broke, and Martin and I spent the evening trying to fix it. It was 10F here in Cambridge. Murphy's Law.

Melanie's book is great. She explains how we, because of culture passed along through generations, get used to seeing meat a natural dish in our plates. I became a vegetarian four years ago and would love to become vegan, but it's been hard. Her book was very inspiring, so after reading I started a personal program in which I eat 2 vegan daily meals out of three. Generally my vegan meals are breakfast and lunch.
