I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw these pictures. I knew cats could be best friends with dogs, but I didn’t know of any stories involving birds. That’s wonderful and gives me hope. Maybe one day we can add a parakeet to our family!
Ah Dani I have a friend in Brazil that has a yellow tabby called Garifield that was very fond of an Agaporne (the same hour mom has ate home). I am sending the links where you can see Garfield and the parakeet together

The name of our friend is Layla Carrozino and ehe has many animals at home (she has allowed you to show her photos)
These pictures are wonderful, Marcia! Thanks for sending! I'm sad Garfield passed. He seemed to be a great cat, and very handsome. I'm sure Layla misses him a lot.
Garfield died last year of kidnet problems at 18 !!!
