Need to clean your iPhone screen? Dogs, cats and a cute ferret will do the job for $1.99 (watch 2-min. video below).
Silver Lining Ideas created an iPhone app called Rescue Cleaner in which animals appear to clean your screen by licking it all over. You might get bored after playing with the app for a couple of days, but it will give you a laugh and make you feel good — 25% of the app proceeds are donated to animal rescue groups.
Founders Steve Cobb and Ruthanna Sweatman have been involved with rescue groups in the Dallas and Ft. Worth in Texas area for eight years, according to the application’s web site.
So far they have raised $385, sent to ASPCA, Dallas-Fort North Metro Golden Retriever Rescue, Newfoundland Club of America and the Greyhound Adoption League of Texas, among other organizations.
