Tavo the Dog stuck in well for a month

Tavo is a lucky little dog. He survived falling into a well about ten meters deep in Queretaro, Mexico.

The water was shallow enough for him not to drown but deep enough to break his fall. The 10-pound white Poodle was stuck in the well for nearly a month. Neighbors could hear a dog in distress but didn’t realize the sounds were coming from there. Finally, someone got close enough and saw the dog, named Tavo after his rescuer, firefighter Gustavo.

A crowd applauded Gustavo and Tavo as they were raised from the well. We’ll never know how Tavo got in there, but it’s improbable that he jumped in on his own. Anyway, he is now safe, happy and healthy in his new home. He’s been adopted!
He now lives with his owner in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico.
