This homeless dog was found sleeping in Jesus’ manger. The Nativity set was located at the central square of Criciuma, a small town in Santa Catarina state, south of Brazil.
I guess he found the perfect spot to stay warm. Merry Christmas everyone.

How Beautiful Dani…. This is the true spirit of Xmas…. Nothing to do with shopping , money, prejudice, hate…etc…
A little dog seeking refuge in a Mahger touching the heart of a lot of Catarinenses….
Happy Xmas, with Peace Joy and Harmony
I agree, Marcia. I wish all the homeless pets out there get such a great place to warm themselves tonight and maybe, who knows, people open their homes and hearts for an animal without a family this season.
May God bless all the stray animals in the world and give us humans more compassion so that we become more responsible and take care of these animals at least near our homes.
I truly hope the christmas spirit inspired someone to give this dog a home.
Me too, Meme! I’ll pray for him!!
This is a beautiful post; thanks, Daniela, for sharing! I'd like to believe this montage supports my theory that animals often display more humanity than humans.
All dog breeds descend from the wolf; they have the capacity to hurt us if they so choose. Yet, this ferrel creature seeks comfort and companionship from an inatimate object that resembles a human (a spiritual icon, nonetheless).
That settles it: dogs are my deity of choice!
I'm with on that, Elizabeth!
